In IRCC

March is Fraud Prevention Month in Canada. Throughout the month, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) works to raise awareness of types of immigration fraud, how to recognize scams and fraudulent websites, how to properly choose an immigration or citizenship consultant, and how to report fraud.

Enclosed for your use are a tip sheet and a link to our YouTube fraud playlist to help inform you of the potential dangers of immigration fraud, and what to do if you encounter them. Take the time to review this information and feel free to share it with your family and friends.

You can get more useful fraud prevention tips, find out where to report scams, and learn about authorized immigration or citizenship representatives by visiting Canada.ca/immigration-fraud.
