Relative impact of CRS factors over time.
Now that the government has had two full years of CRS experience and issuing invitations to apply, it has been able to assess the relative merits of the CRS factors over time.
In the pictorial graph below, the size of the bubble indicates relative impact. The arrow direction indicates positive or negative relationships while the dash indicates an insignificant relationship.
Interestingly in the earlier years, language proficiency and Canadian work experience matter more for success for the candidate as well as the potential employer. Although important throughout the working time period, their importance diminishes as the employee gains more credibility and experience.
