- Over 85 referred companies and universities as of March 25, 2018

- Provincial Governments
- Economic Development Organizations
- Incubators and Accelerators
- Other Federal Departments
Program Delivery Instructions Updates:
Updated February 2018 to provide clarifications on:
- short-term (15 or 30 days) work permit exemption
- short-term (120-day) work permit exemption for researchers
- priority processing (14 days) for work permits under the GSS
Canadian-European Union (EU) Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA)
- Came into force on September 21, 2017
- Implementation falls under IRCCs’ International Mobility Program and Foreign Workers Unit
- Four main categories with the agreement:
- Business Visitors
- Intra-Corporate Transferees
- Contractual Service Providers and Independent Professionals
- Investors
